Cleveland Meats, Squamish

NDY Contracting partnered with Cleveland Meats and Azurean Architecture to transform a 2,000 Sq.Ft. space on Cleveland Avenue into a fully equipped community butcher shop and deli. Located in the heart of downtown Squamish, this project brings quality, ethically sourced meat to local dinner tables while fostering a connection between customers and the origins of their food.

The scope of work included the demolition of the pre-existing interior to a warm shell and the full redesign of the space to meet commercial/retail occupancy requirements. Originally a 1980s Part 9 shell building, the project involved significant upgrades to meet modern building standards. NDY provided pre-construction and value engineering services, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient path from concept to completion.

The technical design-build featured custom walk-in freezers, a cold processing room, and a product freezer, all supported by advanced HVAC systems tailored to the shop’s specific needs. From construction management to the final fit-out, NDY delivered a functional, high-performance environment that aligns with Cleveland Meats’ mission to serve the community with quality and transparency.
